Considering a trip to Lookout Farm? We’ve put together a few tips to help you plan ahead make the most of your visit.
When to visit
The most popular time of the year at Belkin Family Lookout Farm is our Fall U–Pick Season but you can also pick your own strawberries from mid-June thru early July, Cherries are ready to pick in early July, followed by our Stone Fruit U–Pick Season (beginning in early August) where you can pick peaches, nectarines and plums. During all of these times, we offer activities, train rides, children’s play area, caterpillar rides, and more! We do suggest you call ahead or check this website to see what's going on each day. 508-651-0653
What to wear
Make sure you check the weather before you come so you’re prepared! We generally recommend:
- Comfortable shoes — you’ll do a fair amount of walking around our orchards.
- Sun Block — our grounds provide little to no shade, execpt in the Children's Play Area
- Dress in layers if it’s a crisp fall day.
- We don’t have locker or storage facilities, so please note that you’ll have to carry whatever you bring
Fruit is heavy!
Your U–Pick bag can fill up pretty quickly! Even though our trains will transport you throughout the farm, there’s still a lot of walking involved. We ask that you only pick what you intend to purchase, so fruit is not wasted. There are also no strollers or carts available so please plan accordingly.
Stay safe
The farm is 180 acres! Arrange a meeting place should your party get separated. The train circle at the main entrance is a good place to meet.
