The Fun Never Stops!

The farm has closed for the season. See you in the spring!

U-Pick season at Lookout Farm means more than apple picking alone. There’s a whole day’s worth of activities sure to entertain visitors of all ages. Ride our train through our orchards, spend the afternoon in our Children’s Play Area, have fun climbing the hay pyramid, see our farm animals, take a turn on the moon bounce, enjoy the live children's weekend entertainment, run through the burlap maze, get your face painted, take a spin on our Caterpillar ride, and enjoy our weekend pony and camel rides (September + October; additional charge).

Burlap Maze

Can you find your way through our handmade burlap maze? This challenging attraction is sure to be a hit, and your friends and family can watch from atop the Hay Play Pyramid to see who is winning the race. First one to the other side buys the gelato!

Caterpillar Rides

Let the kids take a spin on the Caterpillar ride,  a rubber–tire train that takes you along a scenic path around the Children’s Play Area. This is perfect for 3–10 year–olds and each ride takes about 5 minutes. * Sorry, no adults on the caterpillar.

Hay Pyramid

Hay is for horses. But this hay is for anyone who loves to climb! This safe play area, made out of 400 hay bales, is located at the Children's Play Area .  To make it even more fun this year, you can watch those making their way through the new burlap maze from the tip top of the pyramid!

Train Rides

Our trains transport happy customers through our acres and acres of fruit daily during U–Pick season. These unique, environmentally friendly rubber–tire trains were imported directly from a company in Italy. Trains board at the red U–Pick barn, and our tour guides announce the different stops and what’s pickin’. You can get on and off as often as you would like; see our map for the train route.

Children’s Play Area

Stop by the concession area to grab a hotdog or hamburger, or just a snack, then relax a little on one of our cozy picnic benches while the children have the time of their lives. In the fall, our full BBQ snack bar is available with hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled chicken and other yummy treats.

Farm Animals

Our farm animals are located by the Children’s Play Area. In the summer, come and visit our goats and sheep.  In the fall, kids (and adults) of all ages will also enjoy seeing our rabbits, sheep, goats, donkeys, llamas and cows and more!

Face Painting

Hearts, apples, flowers, soccer balls and bats...kids of all ages love to have their face painted! Face painting is included every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00.

Entertainment

Sing along with one of our talented singers, or be amazed by a magic trick! You may even see the white rabbit disappear before your eyes. Live children’s entertainment is offered every Saturday and Sunday – shows are at 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00.

Moon Bounce

Kids love to jump! Our red, white and blue moon bounce is located near the burlap maze. Kids just need to take off their shoes and climb inside.

Pony, Camel and Hayrides!

It’s not as if U–Pick season weren’t enough fun on its own. But throw in some pony and camel rides, and the fun is over–the–top!  All the ponies and camels are well–maintained and hand–lead. This special treat is perfect for children ages 3–10 years.

Each ride takes about five minutes, and young children may need an adult to walk alongside them. Pony and camel rides are available on weekends from September - October 23 (additional charge) at Children’s Play Area.

Hayrides are so much fun - climb aboard our haywagon and take a free 15- minute ride through the farm. Learn all about the history of this beautiful land and about the workings of Lookout Farm. Available weekends in September and October.
